The classic cuttlebone is offered up to be destroyed. It keeps your bird occupied by allowing them to gnaw and chew. This is a good thing for the bird as it's exactly what they'd do in the wild and keeps them engaged for long periods of time, and gives them a dose of calcium at the same time!
Best bits:
- Helps maintain beak & bone health
- Natural source of calcium
- Keeps them busy
NOTE: Some birds like the peck at cuttlebones and some prefer it ground down into a powder. See what your bird likes, and use a mortar and pestle and grind it if needed.
